Hello Wort Hogs,
The November Wort Hogs meeting will be Wednesday, November 13th, 2019 at 7:30 pm at Buffalo Wing Factory in Reston.
The competition style for November is Mead, Cider, Spiced Beer – M1-4, C1, C2, 30A, 30B, 30C
BJCP style profiles can be found via this link. Mobile apps are also available for both iOS and Android with the style guidelines, and we highly recommend using those for judging at our competitions.
If you are interested in entering the competition, please e-mail worthogsofficers@gmail.com informing us of your beer and specific BJCP style and substyle it corresponds to. Please be sure to bring enough beer to share. We recommend at least 64 oz (a standard growler or a 6 pack)

2020 Competitions
We are pleased to announce the January and February 2020 competition schedule. We are still working on the latter 2020 months schedule, but expect some fun and interesting competitions and events for 2020!

Website Design
The website is being updated, so look out for the following features:
- The new Join Us page makes it easier for brewers to sign up for our club. Please use this as a link for folks to join our newsletter and emails distro.
- The new Blog section will include Recipes and Equipment posts. The Recipes section will contain recipes from competition winners or otherwise interesting beer our brewers want to share. The Equipment section will contain blog posts about equipment for sale from our members.
