Hello Wort Hogs!
This is a quick reminder regarding our club meeting tonight, April 10th, 2019 at 7:30pm at Mellow Mushroom in Herndon, VA.
April’s competition is Iron-Brewer style, with the theme being “Beer for Breakfast.” Our three special ingredients are:
1) Flavored breakfast cereal –ie, Lucky Charms, Count Chocula, Cap’n Crunch and no, plain oatmeal doesn’t count
2) Citrus fruit (any kind)
3) Tea — any flavor or variety
There are no restrictions on beer styles for your entries. Just choose at least ONE of the above ingredients to use in a recipe and let us know what base beer you are pairing it with when you enter. Submit your entries to worthogsofficers@gmail.com
Judging for the competition will follow the same procedures. We’re excited to taste the creative entries we receive. Best of luck!
