“Thirsty Thursday” Kickoff – New Date! April 30 6-9 pm
Due to unforeseen circumstances, we have had to reschedule for April 30. We hope that any of you who were planning to attend can still make it.
We’re starting a new and informal way for us beer lovers to get together to drink beer. On the 4th Thursday of the month, we’ll be visiting a local establishment and, well, drinking beer! To kick things off, we plan to meet at Sweetwater Tavern, located at 14250 Sweetwater Lane, Centreville VA. Homebrew is welcome to share (usual 2 oz rules apply).
Sweetwater’s head brewer, and friend of the Wort Hogs, Joe Schineller will be there to host us, with some free appetizers and samples of some of the new brews. As always, enjoying the free stuff is great, but let’s give them some good business that night too. Note that there are several Sweetwater locations, this is the one in Centreville.
