Our friends in BURP are looking for stewards for the Spirit of Free Beer homebrew competition on May 16 and 17. Stewarding is a great way to learn about beer judging and how competitions work. SOFB, which has been around for 22 years, is a particularly good learning experience. Volunteers are also able to enter beers into the competition. They will simply be assigned to work with an unrelated judging team.

Fri., May 16 from 3:30 – 6 and/or 6 – 9:30 p.m. at Lakevale Estates Community Center (2554 Oak Valley Drive, Vienna, VA 22181)
Sat., May 17 from 8 a.m. – 12 p.m. and/or 12:30 – 4:30 p.m. at Mad Fox Brewing Co. (444 W Broad St, Falls Church, VA 22046)
